…and now for something completely different.

In 2007 the ABP (The General Pension Found) celebrated its 85th unniversary. I was invited by the design groep Zuiderlicht from Maastricht to contribute with the special illustration section titled “The history of social care” As the matter of fact it became a history of our civilization. Thanks to the art directors, Peggy van Sebillen and Tim Baumgartner I got 30 pages to tell the story. Now, after almost ten years I returned to this project, just to check the sustainability of my work. Take a time please and look at the “pixel” work ¬†made with Adobe Illustrator. The year 2007.

Almost finished. “Obraz#8″ (painting#8) Sometimes I am asking myself, what is going on with me, why must I paint such a “cold tea with a piece of dry out bread” It is a travel of an natural illustrator into the world of free art. Almost impossible to free yourself from ¬† the narrative way of thinking, narrative mind.
